Conceived and produced by Kazuyoshi Okuyama, who also produced The Gun, the film The Gun 2020 is an original work based on Fuminori Nakamura's original idea, and is the first time Nakamura himself has written a screenplay for the film. Tomochika plays Mizuho, a mentally ill mother who hates Toko.
Mitsuru Fukikoshi plays the detective who pursues Toko to her doom.
The fascinating cast lures the audience into this outlandish world.
